Full and Part-time               20-40 hrs per week

Looking for individuals who are passionate about working with seniors in a small family-oriented community, reliable for the shifts assigned, and part of a team that respects each other to provide the best of care in the Brainerd lakes area. The care and safety of our residents is the top priority.

Job Requirements:

*Provide high quality care for our Assisted Living residents.   We provide training and CNA license is not required.

*Assist residents in their daily living needs such as dressing, grooming, bathing, transferring, etc…

*Provide medication to those residents assigned in their care plan

*Assist with breakfast preparation

*Protects resident rights to privacy and respect

*Facility upkeep which includes facility cleanliness, apt housekeeping, etc…

*Coordinates with nurse on resident needs

*Rotating weekend and holiday blocks

*Other tasks as assigned by Executive Director

Pay:                              $17-22 depending on experience.  Differential for PM and NOC shifts

Part-time               Approximately 20 hrs per week

The Activity Director is responsible for all aspects of our activity program called   “Rise and Thrive”.  This is an active and creative position with a love of seeing seniors active in their environment.  The Director will develop weekly and monthly activities and events that provide cultural, social, and recreational opportunities. 

Job responsibilities:

*Provide daily activity programming, work with residents on the activity

*Provide a calendar of weekly and monthly activities.  These activities should include group social, individual, indoor and outdoor, spiritual, arts and crafts, exercise, educational and family involved

*Maintain strong positive relationships with residents, families, community contacts, and staff. Represent the community in a manner that is consistent with our mission.

*Post activity calendar on the website

*Assist executive Director in planning of special events, including holiday events

*Decorate facility on holidays

*Develop a monthly newsletter for residents and families

*Work with vendors, such as entertainers, to enrich the activity calendar

*Work with resident council to plan and implement selected resident programs

*Coordinate transportation if needed to special events

*Maintain directed budget and keep inventory of supplies.

*Other tasks as directed by Executive Director

Full and Part-time:             20-40 hrs per week

We are looking for full and part-time cooks to join our newly established small senior community beginning this Fall. Our cooks will offer inspiring meals in a warm and inviting dining room.  Our goal is to offer fresh baked breads, pastries and desserts daily.  Creativity in meal preparation and presentation is important.  The cooks will work with the executive Director on menu planning and special events.

Job requirements:

*Ability to follow recipes, labels, policies, and procedures.

*Work cooperatively with management, staff and residents/families.

*Serv Safe Certified (or willingness to get the certification during training)

*Ability to work with minimal supervision, to prioritize, and to multi-task routinely

*Be reliable on shifts assigned.

*Clean and sanitize kitchen and equipment as necessary, includes clean up after meals

*Meets the needs of residents as directed by Executive Director or Nurse Manager which includes the nutritional needs are met as followed by designed menu

*Keep inventory log of food products and needs

*Participate in special events

Part-time               20-40 hrs per week

Housekeeper:

We are seeking a professional and compassionate housekeeper to join our team.  Our facility is a 20-studio unit apartment complex with two dining rooms and a great activity room.  If you enjoy cleaning and delight in seeing seniors cared for you will enjoy this position.  The position requires cleaning of the resident rooms, dining rooms, restrooms, and common public places.

Job responsibilities:

*Sweep, vacuum, mop, scour sanitize areas as assigned.  Must move furniture at times to accomplish this

*Keep chemicals safely stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance to building policies

*Utilize, inventory and properly care for all housekeeping equipment

*Reliability in showing up for assigned shifts

*Willingness to adjust daily cleaning schedule, as needed

*Ability to interact with seniors

*Pleasant, tactful, respectful, and professional with residents, family members, and staff.

*Able to accept direction and suggestion to meet the needs of the residents and community.

*Additional tasks as assigned by Executive Director
